Abstract

This is a discussion of things I wish I knew before we started working with Alma acquisitions. These things fall into four categories.

1) That does what? or Unexpected relationships between fields, data and navigation.

2) You mean they don't talk? Fields/data that you think should interact or be relational, but are not.

3) I want to search for...? Some fields are indexed in Alma, some are only available in analytics. So what to look for where if you want to search for certain kinds of things including a brief discussion about how to go back and forth between Alma sets and analytics.

This presentation will assume some familiarity with Alma acquisitions, and will include a brief overview of how acquisitions works in Alma.

There will be 15 minutes saved for disussion, so please bring your own tips and tricks and things you which someone had told you to share with the group.
