Abstract

RedLink is an independent SaaS provider to scholarly publishers and academic libraries. Our foundational products, Library Dashboard and Publisher Dashboard, provide an easy way for customers to view aggregated usage data, as well as analyze trends and make comparisons across journals, ebooks and database collections. The Consortia Dashboard offers visualization of usage across and within the Consortia itself. The RedLink Index is an annual report that presents the anonymized data of over 7,500 institutions and its dataset contains over 218 million full-text views, 114 million abstract views and 35 million denials across most major disciplines. During this session, we will present the highlights from the 2017 Index, which includes the percentage of institutions with increasing, decreasing, or steady usage, percentages of usage and denials in current vs archival content, how much of that usage comes from consortia and a visualization of how it is globally distributed.
