Abstract

In December 2017, Atlas Systems released their WebForm API. When implementing the new UI at The New School, public service staff were looking for a way to seamlessly integrate ILL request forms into the Primo application rather than send patrons to another application. After implementing OpacViaPrimo in the new UI, we decided we wanted the same request experience to be the model for ILLiad requests. In June, 2018, we released version 1 of ILLiadTabs. After the first six months, inter-library loan requests increased over 130%. This presentation will demo the customization and discuss the architecture necessary to deploy the customization (Primo, PHP, MySQL and Illiad 8)
