Abstract

Karen Newbery, Analyst, IT, Duke University; Beth Brennan, MARC Database Manager, MIT. This session will be a discussion of the workflow of retrieving and loading batch bibliographic records into ALEPH. The discussion leaders will present their processes, and then open the floor to others who would like to share their processes or ask questions. The focus will be on the current workflow that is offered by Ex Libris using the services menu and if it matches the needs of the library. If it does not, what changes can we suggest to make it work better for us as the users?
