Abstract

Robert H. McDonald (Florida State University), Michael Kaplan (Ex Libris, Inc.).

This paper will detail the Florida State University Libraries strategies to more effectively consolidate operations, collections, metadata, and permissions for Electronic Theses & Dissertations (ETDs) into a single,
more cohesive online resource, using DigiTool 3.0. In particular, the authors will present specific standards, licensing/permissions and system options that were considered, and then explain the choices that were made.
