abstract: The SQL INSERT command can be used to create and load records, and copy records to temporary copies of tables. SQL commands can also be used to join a table to itself to locate/correct certain duplicate conditions. This session will explain how INSERT and other useful SQL commands work and give examples of some practical applications in the ALEPH system. Ample time will be given for questions and discussion, and you are encouraged to bring SQL tips of your own to share.
