Abstract
ALEPH administrators use the Admin Module to create user accounts and ‘access rights’ profiles. Groups of users can be ‘proxied’ to a single profile. The presentation considers the strengths and weaknesses of the Admin Module’s interface for creating and maintaining accounts and profiles, shows how to use Oracle to overcome some of the module’s limitations, and recommends specific improvements geared to the needs of large institutions.
