Abstract
At Willamette University, we have used some post processing available in ILLiad to send received loans to an excel spreadsheet, thanks to Lewis & Clark for information about this possibility. We then run a PHP script on the Excel spreadsheet to create a MARC record for each item on the sheet. These are then imported into Alma as physical items. The temporary ILL items are then checked out to each patron, and then we used ILLIAD to send out the notifications to patrons that there items are available to be picked up.
