Abstract
When the University of Wisconsin System migrated from Voyager to Alma, we moved from 14 individual catalogs to a shared catalog using the network zone. This necessitated the coordination of testing of data from the 14 Voyager installations into the new Alma environment. This session will outline how the testing of the data migration and functional issues was handled during three different phases of implementation: a 3 campus test load, a 14 campus system-wide test migration, and the final production load. This session will look at the testing protocols that were developed and the communication mechanisms that were used to facilitate testing. While the UW System moved to Alma from Voyager as a consortium, the testing protocols developed are relevant to any institution migrating to Alma from any integrated library system.
