Abstract
This presentation will share results of a survey that was distributed to academic libraries across the country. The survey results will help to determine how the adoption of discovery systems has impacted organizational structure in academic libraries, if at all. The survey results will identify which library staff and functional areas commonly manage discovery systems, whether new personnel are hired or existing personnel are reassigned to manage discovery, and if the adoption of discovery systems has lead to any restructuring. This presentation seeks to find out how one technology –discovery systems—has impacted libraries internally.
