Abstract
This presentation will introduce the VuFind product, with a focus on specific strategies for using it to enhance the user experience of services such as Summon and 360 Link as well as integrated library systems like Voyager and Aleph. The presentation will also include a status update on VuFind/Alma integration, which is a work in progress at the time of this writing.
The VuFind open source discovery layer interfaces seamlessly with a variety of Ex Libris products, allowing libraries a great deal of control over the way their content is presented to their users. Its configuration-driven design makes it easy to set up a wide array of options without touching any code, while its modular architecture makes the development of entirely new features straightforward for developers.
