Abstract

The Tennessee Tech University Library has conducted two usability studies in the past three years, one on the library website and the other on Primo.

This session will cover how to plan and carry out a usability study including:

-Institutional Review Board (IRB)

-Selecting software

-Creating the task list

-Recruiting participants

Monitoring sessions

Evaluating data

This session will also cover our observations from the recent usability study and steps we have taken to improve user experience in Primo.
