Abstract
“Who are the Ex Libris Content Operations team, and what do they do?” These are still questions that we hear regularly, even though the team has been around for quite a while working behind-the-scenes. During this presentation we will review the team’s mission and vision, and share more about who we are.
This session is an opportunity to better understand who are the people behind Content Operations, and what the Content Operations team's main activities and initiatives are, as well as to get a glimpse of our shared processes, and their relation to the suite of Ex Libris products. The session will address the challenges of maintaining and prioritizing content ingestion, and managing the metadata in the various Ex Libris products. We will also discuss other areas of interest, such as working with our content providers, the importance of the work currently done together with the Ex Libris customer community, and more!
