Abstract
The shift towards digital interfaces and resources in libraries sacrifices many opportunities for serendipitous exploration that physical spaces and objects have provided in the past. This session will focus on how Syndetics Unbound can introduce new avenues for serendipitous exploration in your library through Primo and Summon. You will learn how Syndetics Unbound can help guide users through the discovery process by helping them better evaluate available resources and by providing context and consistency across websites and databases. Finally, we will explore several implementations of Syndetics Unbound and discuss the setup and customization options for both Summon and Primo.
