Abstract
This session will explore Rialto, a new development partnership and service to be built on the Alma platform, which is ProQuest’s next-generation system of book and other content acquisitions. Empowered by data-driven recommendations from your library, Rialto aims to help selectors make better decisions on format, offering, and titles to increase usage – “buy what you use, and use what you buy!” Ex Libris/ProQuest presenters will first offer an overview of the development project, followed by several development partners in North America and the UK discussing their institutional motivation for joining the project and anticipated outcomes for the product.
