Abstract
Work orders are designed to increase libraries' inventory control by routing and managing items that require internal processing. This session will introduce the concept of the Alma work order, including configuration of work order departments, types, and statuses; the work order life cycle; and the creation and monitoring of work orders. This session will include an overview of how to batch request and manage items in Alma when used with external remote storage systems and library-wide withdrawal and relocation projects.
