Abstract
San Francisco State University went live with Alma in the summer of 2017 as a California State University consortia member. Since then, we have completed a variety of post-migration data cleanup projects and fine-tuned workflows. In this presentation, we will provide a few examples including resolving location and item policy issues, batch processing thousands of items, and optimizing Acquisitions and Resource Management procedures. We will share our Alma configurations, normalization rules, and import profiles. We hope these tips will enhance workflows and empower data clean-up projects at other libraries.
