Abstract

SFX users now have the opportunity to evaluate their full-text collections against possible new purchases using the Advanced Collection Tool. Needing more detailed information than was provided, this presenter delved into the excel spreadsheets and manipulated the data to get the answers she needed. This session will show the audience the basics of running the Advanced Collection Tool in SFX, how to interpret the summary results, and how to manipulate the data spreadsheets to glean useful information for collection development.
