Abstract
Erin Loree, Technical Services Librarian, Amherst College; Jan Jourdain, Head of Library Information Technology, Amherst College.
Amherst uses SQL-extracted Verde data to dynamically build the database portion of our subject guides and to generate our database A-Z page. Plus, we have transformed our Verde data into a user-friendly form based system for creating highly customized course guides. Similarly, we recycle Aleph data to create our subject guides’ new titles lists. And we’re cooking up a new way to securely provide resource logins to our patrons using a separate stew of Verde data.
