Abstract
Barbara Weir, Associate Librarian for Technical Services and Digital Initiatives, Swarthmore College.
The Tri-College Consortium (Bryn Mawr, Haverford and Swarthmore Colleges) have worked together on evaluation and purchasing of e?resources for several years. We have worked with a collection of home-grown systems, an ERM development project with another vendor and, as of May 2008, with Verde. I will talk about what we have learned so far about using the trials process in Verde including what things work well, and what things not so much, in trialing a group of resources with a staff dispersed at three geographic locations.
