Abstract
Aimee Reist, Service Quality Coordinator, College Center for Library Automation (CCLA); Barry Harvey, Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, College Center for Library Automation (CCLA); Dawn Aguero, Usability Analyst, College Center for Library Automation (CCLA).
The College Center for Library Automation believes that providing quality products to end-users is an achievable goal! Covering both quality assurance and usability methodologies, this how-to session will provide an overview of quality testing practices for Web-based systems, using Ex Libris Primo software as a case study. Participants will learn practical, easy-to-use techniques for improving or beginning quality testing for Web-based systems. Automated testing, manual testing, and testing with internal and external users will be explored. Provided examples will be applicable to any size organization and can be used with any level of testing experience.
