NAAUG Enhancement Request Process
Timetable 2005 - 2006
- February 2005
- Formation of the Enhancement Groups for Version 19
- March - April 2005
- Enhancement Groups gather and prioritize enhancement requests
- April 15
- Enhancement Groups submit their top 3-5 requests to the Enhancement
Coordinator
- May 1
- Enhancement Coordinator sends the combined list of requests to Ex Libris for
pointing
- June 2005
- Enhancements Chairs meet with Ex Libris (Carmit) at NAAUG 2005 to review pointed requests
- July - August
- Enhancement Groups refine their requests
- September 1
- Enhancement Groups send their final top 3 requests to the Enhancement Coordinator
- September 15
- Enhancement Coordinator announces the publication (on this website) of the
final list of enhancement requests being proposed for Version 19
- October 1
- Voting begins on the enhancements for Version 19
- November 15
- Voting ends
- November 30
- Final votes tallied, reported to NAAUG and submitted to Ex Libris for FSD
work
- December 2005 to March 2006
- Ex Libris works of specs for the Enhancements and delivers a FSD (Functional
Specification Document - the proposed solution and how it will be developed) for
each enhancement to the Enhancement Groups
- April - May 2006
- Enhancement Groups review and sign off on the FSD
- June - September 2006
- Ex Libris works to programme the Enhancement Requests
- October - November 2006
- Pre-release testing by NAAUG and signoff by the Steering Committee
- January 2007
- Enhancements delivered in the General Release of Version 19
