Abstract
Text messaging is a way to communicate instantly with your users. Georgia Tech Library is in the process of creating a texting system that will allow staff to send quick message alerts to patrons regarding availability and status of short loan items, such as Reserves. In our talk we’ll discuss how we’ve modified VuFind code to set up a texting service.
