Abstract
Searching in Primo is a simple process for users, but what actually happens when the search button is clicked. The presentation will discuss searching Primo Central, the local index, Metalib, and SFX (with umlaut). The focus will be on the search process and the processing of the results to the user. Several questions will be answered including why does Primo Central not dedup with local resources. The target audience for this session will be staff that utilize and teach Primo. This will be a general discussion of Primo and not focused on configuration.
